Two pipelay support vessels (PLSVs) owned by a joint venture of DOF Group and TechnipFMC have secured long-term contract extensions with Brazil’s oil & gas company Petrobras.
Under the contract amendments, Skandi Buzios has been awarded a 516-day extension and Skandi Recife a 550-day extension.
Previously scheduled to terminate in the third quarter of 2026, the long-term contracts have now been extended through January 2028.
To remind, at the end of 2025, the joint venture’s other three PLSVs secured contract extensions with Petrobras, with Skandi Vitória and Skandi Niterói having been extended from the fourth quarter of 2025 until the first quarter of 2027 and Skandi Açu from the third quarter of 2026 also until the first quarter of 2027.
In another announcement, DOF Group reported that it had won firm contracts for two of its anchor handling tug offshore support (AHTS) vessels that will have a duration of over one year.

The contracts have been described as significant, meaning that each is worth between $15 million and $25 million.
No further details have been revealed, except that the expected start is in the first quarter of 2027.
