DOF Group, a Norwegian operator and owner of a fleet of advanced vessels for the energy and marine sectors, has lined up work for two anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region, encompassing member states and territories across the Caribbean, as well as Belize in Central America and Guyana and Suriname in northern South America.

DOF has been awarded firm contracts with a combined duration of 150 days for two of its undisclosed AHTS vessels in the CARICOM region, a grouping of 23 countries that represents a political and economic union of 15 member states and eight associate members across the Caribbean, South America, and Central America.

The Norwegian vessel owner will also provide remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for the engagement with a company whose name has not been revealed. The two vessels will begin transit to the region shortly.

The combined value of the contracts is described as significant, which for DOF signifies deals worth between $15 million and $25 million.

These assignments come shortly after the company secured a letter of award for a four-year contract, valued between $100 million and $200 million, which also includes ROV services.
