Cotemar, a global company and one of the leading providers of integrated services for Mexico’s oil and gas industry, has deployed its offshore vessels Olympus and Artemis to support strategic offshore construction, maintenance, and engineering projects in the Campeche Sound, one of the Gulf of Mexico’s most important hydrocarbon-producing regions.

The deployment reflects Cotemar’s capability to execute complex offshore operations that enhance infrastructure availability, safeguard asset integrity, mitigate operational risk, and contribute to the continuity of oil and gas production under demanding operating conditions.

Supported by extensive operational experience and advanced technical resources, both vessels are equipped to perform specialized engineering, maintenance, and construction activities while meeting the highest international standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The Olympus vessel is currently supporting maintenance activities at the Ku-Maloob-Zaap Production Asset, at the KU-A and KU-S processing centers, where it performs specialized offshore interventions designed to restore production facilities to their original operating and design conditions. These activities contribute to improved asset reliability and help sustain production at one of Mexico’s most strategically important offshore developments.

Meanwhile, the Artemis vessel has been deployed to the Litoral-A Complex, at the MAY-A, TSIMIN-A, XUX-A, MULACH-A, and YAXCHE-C platforms, among others, where it is executing offshore engineering and construction activities aimed at strengthening infrastructure performance and supporting operational continuity across mature producing fields. The project contributes to the production objectives established by Mexico’s State-Owned Productive Enterprise.

The deployment of Olympus and Artemis demonstrates Cotemar’s integrated offshore execution capabilities, combining specialized engineering, marine operations, logistics, and project management expertise to deliver critical offshore services while maintaining the highest standards of safety, mechanical integrity, and operational reliability.

Through its comprehensive service portfolio and highly specialized workforce, Cotemar continues to strengthen its position as a strategic partner for offshore engineering, construction, and maintenance projects in Mexico and the Gulf of Mexico. By supporting the reliability, integrity, and long-term performance of offshore infrastructure, the company contributes to the sustainable development of the region’s energy industry.
