American semiconductor company Analog Devices announced that an unauthorized party accessed some of its systems and exfiltrated certain files.
The company detected the incident on June 23 and reacted by activating its incident response protocols to limit the breach. External cybersecurity experts have been contracted to assist with the containment and investigation activities.
Currently, there are no details about the type of data that has been compromised.
“On June 23, 2026, Analog Devices, Inc. identified unauthorized access to certain Company systems,” Analog Devices says in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
“Following detection of the unauthorized access, the Company immediately activated its incident response protocols and engaged external cybersecurity experts to assist with containment and investigation activities,” the company says.
Analog Devices designs analog, mixed-signal, power management, and digital signal processing chips used in industrial automation, automotive systems, communications infrastructure, healthcare equipment, aerospace, and data centers.
The company employs approximately 24,500 people worldwide and generated more than $11 billion in revenue in 2025, making it one of the world’s largest analog semiconductor suppliers.
Analog Devices says it has no knowledge of any stolen data being leaked online or used for fraudulent purposes, but will continue to monitor and take necessary action.
Law enforcement authorities have been informed of the incident, and affected parties and regulators will receive notifications about the compromised information.
The company states that its business operations were not affected by this incident and added that it does not believe the event will have any material impact on its operations or financial condition.
Analog Devices also noted that it is separately assessing an unrelated cybersecurity matter that surfaced in public reports on July 26.
This may be related to the data extortion group ‘ExfilSquad’ that recently added Analog Devices to its leak site, claiming to have exfiltrated information from company systems.
However, the threat actor no longer lists Analog Devices on their site. While the reason for this is unknown, it is common for threat actors to delist companies when ransom negotiations begin.
It is unclear if the ExfilSquad intrusion is connected to the data breach disclosed in the SEC filing.
Aside from ExfilSquad’s claim, no other ransomware or data-extortion threat group announced attacks against Analog Devices.
