Did 163 Democrats use same Oklahoma address to vote for Biden in 2020? There’s no proof

    • A meme alleges 163 Democratic Party votes for former U.S. President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory all came from the same Oklahoma address — a home displayed in the image.
    • As of this writing, we have not yet located enough evidence to conclusively confirm or debunk what appears to be a false or unfounded rumor.
    • Searches located no news media outlets reporting on the matter, nor any social media posts promoting the rumor prior to 2026.
    • A reverse-image search found the same house pictured in the meme located in the rural town of Stratford, Oklahoma.
    • Snopes emailed the Oklahoma State Election Board and other officials to ask whether they were aware of any such election-related crimes occurring in relation to the home address. We will update this article if we locate or receive any further credible information.

Since at least February, people have shared a meme alleging that 163 Democratic Party votes for former U.S. President Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory all came from the same Oklahoma address.

The rumor touched on President Donald Trump’s long-standing false claims that fraud plagued the 2020 election in battleground states. In 2021, The Associated Press investigated all of Trump’s claims in six key states and found nowhere near the amount of fraud needed for Trump to have won.

In an email, a Snopes reader shared the meme, which featured an image of a modest single-level home in a rural-looking setting with a one-car garage and what appears to be a twin-size mattress leaning against the wall on the front porch.

The meme read, “Why do we need voter ID? Because in the 2020 election, 163 Democrats used this one address to cast a vote for Joe Biden.” The reader asked, “Any truth to this?”

A reverse-image search found other people sharing the same meme both in Facebook posts (archived) and comments (archived), as well as on LinkedIn (archived), Reddit (archived), Threads (archived) and X (archived).

As of this writing, we have not yet located enough evidence to conclusively debunk (or confirm) what appears to be a false rumor. We also have not yet determined who created the meme, which we found showed a house in rural Oklahoma. As such, we have not added a fact-check rating to this story.

Researching the meme and finding the house

Searches of Bing, DuckDuckGo, Google and Yahoo found no news media outlets or political blogs reporting about 163 votes being cast for Biden using the address of the home pictured in the meme. That complete lack of reporting included conservative blogs, which would widely report on such a purported Democratic Party election fraud attempt — had it actually happened. Our searches also failed to locate evidence of users promoting the rumor prior to this year, more than five years after the 2020 election concluded.

A reverse-image search for the home pictured in the meme found real estate listings displaying a similar photo of the same house, for example on Realtor.com. The listings featured the address 401 N. Sycamore Ave. in the town of Stratford, Oklahoma, in Garvin County. The home appeared in Google Maps Street View on the east side of Sycamore.

Snopes emailed the Oklahoma State Election Board, a Garvin County elections official and the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office. We presented the claim and asked whether officials were aware of any such election-related crimes occurring in relation to the home address.

We will update this article if we locate or receive any further credible information.

Trump secured more votes than Biden in every county in Oklahoma in the 2020 election, defeating Biden by a margin of more than 2-to-1. Trump also earned more than 81% of the vote in Garvin County.

For further reading, we previously reported about a rumor that Trump thanked tech billionaire Elon Musk for making every Republican vote count three times.
