Samsung just unveiled its latest lineup of phones at its London Unpacked event this week, and the preorder deals and carrier offers are here. If you’re eyeing the latest devices, like the Galaxy Z Flip 8 or Galaxy Z Fold 8, traditional carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T aren’t the only options for preordering. Amazon has great preorder deals running right now, which include a free $50, $200, or $350 digital gift card upon purchase.

Also: Everything announced at Samsung Unpacked 2026: New foldables, smartwatches, more

Your digital Amazon gift card will appear on your account after purchase, and no extra steps or promo codes are needed to obtain this offer. The new Samsung Galaxy devices will officially be released on Aug. 7, and since these offers are preorders, you’ll have to wait for your purchases to become available (even if you’re a Prime member).

Also: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 vs. Z Flip 8: I compared both models, and here’s the one to buy

Amazon estimates preorders to begin arriving at customers starting Aug. 10. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 includes a $200 gift card, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra have similar offers, with free $350 digital gift cards available. If you’re trading in an older device, the Galaxy Flip 8 offers up to $200 in trade-in value, while the Galaxy Fold 8 and Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra offer up to $400.

Plus, you can grab the Galaxy Watch 9 at Amazon for $50 off with a free $50 gift card.

This is one of the best ways to score Samsung’s newest devices unlocked with a discount via Amazon’s digital gift card offers. If you’re interested in scooping up any of these models, I wouldn’t wait, as devices are set to be officially released by Aug. 7, and these offers are likely to dissipate afterward.

    How I rated this deal

Amazon’s preorder deals are usually the best way to obtain the newest phones unlocked for any carrier. This way, you can pay outright, grab some free gift card promos, and take your new phone to a carrier of your choosing (many of which have plenty of promos going on for these new devices). For the flexibility and universal gift card savings, I gave this deal a 5/5 editors’ deal rating. It’s one of my favorite offers to highlight for its no-strings-attached approach, but it may not be for those who prefer ordering through a carrier or need the monthly installment plans they offer.

    When will this deal expire?

We expect this deal to last at least until preorders for the new Galaxy 8 series end. Deals are subject to sell out or expire at any time, though ZDNET remains committed to finding, sharing, and updating the best product deals so you can score the best savings. Our team of experts regularly checks the deals we share to ensure they are still live and available. We’re sorry if you’ve missed out on this deal, but don’t fret — we’re constantly finding new chances to save and sharing them with you at ZDNET.com.
