The Adecco Group is rolling out Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker across more than 40 countries following a pilot in the UK and France, the staffing group announced on September 15. The group said the rollout brings agentic AI into the daily workflows of 27,000 employees.
Agentforce Coworker is Salesforce’s AI assistant for enterprise staff. According to the Adecco Group, it is built into the Salesforce platform, runs on Anthropic’s Claude, and supports sales and recruitment work, including engagement with clients and candidates.
What Agentforce Coworker does for Adecco Group staff
The group said Agentforce Coworker gives staff a single access point to data, systems and organisational knowledge that previously sat across dozens of tools. According to the group, sales staff and recruiters can use it to find priority prospects, prepare sales briefs, enrich prospect data and check lead status across teams. Recruiters can also select candidates and launch the pre-screening, recruiter or onboarding agents.
The tool will also draw on context from more than 2.5 million agent-candidate interactions recorded since April 2025, the group said.
Adecco Group CEO Denis Machuel said the rollout gives the group’s teams a single interface holding candidate history and client context at the point where human judgment matters most. He pointed to the pilot as evidence of uptake. “Our pilot showed strong adoption in a matter of days,” he said. The September statement did not include usage or productivity figures from the UK and France pilot.
Built on a licence signed in March
The Agentforce Coworker rollout follows a multi-year agreement the Adecco Group signed with Salesforce in March, running through 2027, for unlimited global access to Agentforce 360. The group noted that the “unlimited” access is subject to the terms of its Agentic Enterprise License Agreement. At the time, the group said the agreement supported its target for more than half of Adecco revenues to be powered by agentic AI by the end of 2026.
In its September statement, the group said it has already deployed agentic AI across recruitment workflows in ten countries, which it said represent 50% of Adecco business revenues. The statement does not specify whether that refers to group revenue or to the Adecco business unit, which operates alongside the group’s Akkodis and LHH units.
In the UK, where Adecco had deployed Agentforce 360 agents in parts of its recruitment process, the group reported in March that the agents had helped generate 15% time savings, along with shorter time-to-fill, higher fill rates and lower cost-to-serve. The March statement referred to roughly 27,000 recruiters, while the September statement describes the 27,000 people covered by the rollout as employees.
Figures shared on the Dreamforce stage
Speaking at the Dreamforce 2026 keynote in San Francisco, Machuel said recruiters have saved 35% to 40% of their time through agentic AI, CX Today reported. He also said the business has placed 20,000 more people so far this year, which he attributed to better conversations. CX Today noted that these are company-provided figures that have not been independently verified.
CX Today also reported that the group has handled 2.6 million agent interactions this year, while the group’s September statement cites more than 2.5 million since April 2025. The two figures cover different periods, and neither source explains how interactions are counted.
The group also demonstrated Ada, its recruiting voice agent built on Agentforce Voice. According to CX Today, a caller in the demo learned why their application was paused, gave a new certification number, had it verified and saw the application updated during the call.
Machuel described the group’s approach as deploying AI alongside its people rather than imposing it on them. “AI had to happen with people and not to people,” he said during the keynote, as reported by CX Today.
The group’s September statement does not set a timeline for completing the 40-country rollout. In March, the group said its next phase would add more agents in the UK and expand implementation in France and other key markets. It would also extend agentic capability across its nearshore and offshore hubs in India, Poland, Mexico and Morocco.
