Of course, calling a political opponent spineless or likening them to a jellyfish is a classic move. British politicians are particularly keen on this method of attack (a sting operation!). Rumors that these were Russian spy jellyfish sent on a mission to disrupt power flows in France were unconfirmed at the time of going to press. But can’t rule out Vladimir Putin using jellyfish for nefarious purposes.
