During the visit, the delegation confirmed the planned schedule for the arrival in Angola, starting in 2027, of the equipment currently in production at OneSubsea’s facilities in Malaysia. Before its offshore installation, this equipment will be tested by Angolan OneSubsea teams at the company’s testing facilities in Sonils, Luanda.
Among the components being manufactured are 13 subsea Christmas trees, with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery of said equipment within the planned deadlines. The execution of the Kaminho project has already exceeded 50%.
The Kaminho project’s subsea production system will be installed at a depth greater than 1,500 meters and will connect the wells of the Cameia reservoir to the system of pipelines that carry hydrocarbons to the FPSO Kaminho to allow them to be treated and separated into water, gas, and crude oil.
