U.S.-headquartered technology player SLB has added more than 450 wells to its job list in one fell swoop by locking down a four-contract quadfecta with Saudi Arabia’s energy giant Aramco.
SLB has secured four integrated well construction contracts with Aramco to support oil and gas development across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it will manage end-to-end well construction services, delivering more than 450 wells during the three-year term, with an optional extension of up to two years for each.

The U.S. technology player emphasizes that its integrated well construction model brings together every aspect of well delivery through a technology-enabled operating model, combining digital drilling workflows with automated drilling, evaluation, fluids, cementing, and completions products and services to improve efficiency, consistency, and well performance across diverse, large-scale drilling programs.
The latest deal builds on decades of collaboration between the two companies, representing a significant expansion of SLB’s integrated well construction business in Saudi Arabia, while underscoring growing customer adoption of integrated delivery models for large-scale drilling programs and highlighting the model’s ability to improve execution consistency across the well construction lifecycle.
The three-year quartet follows weeks after SLB was hired by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP), a joint venture between the Brunei government and Shell, to lend a hand in restoring oil and gas production across mature fields off the coast of Brunei.
