Does photo show Trump and White House aide Natalie Harp looking out helicopter window?

In August 2026, Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga., criticized U.S. President Donald Trump, saying the president “wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace” — referring to White House aide Natalie Harp. His statement resulted in widespread speculation about the releationship between Trump and Harp, along with the online dissemination of a purported photograph of the two looking out an aircraft window. 

The image, which spread on X and Facebook, showed Trump and Harp seated close together in a lit-up cabin looking out the window of an aircraft. Many users questioned whether the photograph was real.

The above image is authentic. It is a zoomed-in version of a photograph taken by Washington-based photojournalist Al Drago. As such, we rate this claim true.

Drago took the photo capturing the moment between Trump and Harp on April 10, 2026. Several photographs on Getty Images, a reputable photo repository, show Trump’s son Eric Trump was seated across from them in Marine One, the presidential helicopter. 

The caption states:

Ossoff, who is up for re-election in November, named Harp while claiming Trump was not able to perform the job of president, also making references to the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and a new Air Force One given to the Trump administration by Qatar. Ossoff said:

While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, while he fruitlessly drains our munitions and oil reserves, the president sleeps through his meetings, he golfs and trades stocks. See, he doesn’t want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.

Asked about Ossoff’s comments, Trump called the senator a “Pee-wee Herman look-alike” and said he would “much rather do other things.” 

Harp is reportedly very close to Trump and is often photographed at his side. She is responsible for typing his posts on Truth Social.
